A medium sized Panamint bowl - polychrome with juncus worked in the sumac fabric of the basket. The basket measures 9 1/2" diameter at the rim x 4" deep. Photo #3 shows a close-up of the orange-colored juncus stitching. Weaving runs approximately 20 stitches to the inch and six coils to the inch. The basket is in very good condition with a darker patina from sun exposure and accumulated dust and use. There are several missing rim stitches, the largest is approximately 1/4" in length.
